I visited Times Square on one of the few sunny days we had last week and it was really great to see the usual busy activity associated with the place. I loved the different happenings - foreign news crews, fashion shoots, free sample giveaways - ooh I got free chocolate and bottles of shampoo! The lines for discounted broadway and off-broadway tickets were still long and there seemed to be more shoppers than ever. I especially loved the fashionable shoppers - people who look great while shopping to look great, definitely a skill I do not possess.
These are gorgeous Jen! It is I, Lawrence, your long lost ol' co-worker. I've been thinking of you lately (thus googling you) whilst making my own attempts at art...how are you? Do you still do tai chi? xo

ReplyDeleteHi Evan, thanks so much! It was really weird. I haven't been to Times Square in a while either. But while sitting there drawing so many tourists and shoppers, it felt like a destination. I was pleasantly surprised!
